SING IN A GROUP WHERE YOUR VOICE REALLY COUNTS!
The Canby Singers is a 20-voice a cappella singing group of highly skilled amateurs. Under the direction of Sheila Schonbrun, we rehearse in Greenwich Village each Tuesday evening from September to May. We perform music from all periods in several concerts a year in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the greater NYC area. We are always interested in auditioning enthusiastic singers who can sight read, blend well, and have some experience with complex rhythms.
